asked them to come in for water heater not heating up . said the gas valve was defective , could not be replaced , part is no longer available , the unit is too old , 2005 manufactured . so , the whole unit needs replacement . cost $ 2100 . Today . called the manufacturer and gave serial and model number , part is available for $134.62 . I can't tell why they are doing such a dishonest... Read more

I have been working to get a water heater installed for a month got new one installed failed inspection took two weeks to get failures corrected now leaks worse than the broken heater and can't get anyone out to fix it every time its a 4 hour window and I'm on 30 hours and still waiting Add comment

I asked them to cancel my repair contract two months ago and they are still taking 20.00 a month from my checking account. I hope they refund my 40.00 . We will see. Add comment

Had to wait over six hours before tech showed up to give us our $99 emergency diagnosis for no water. Proceeded to tell us it'll cost us $114 to check to see if the check valve is the problem, which it isn't because it was replaced the day before by another company. $1,400 if the pump goes while trying to prime it, and $400+ to "dig" around the well head to check the joint inside the top of the... No wonder they expect the plumber to collect the money from the customer before they leave the job. So much dissatisfaction. He did come promptly. He did do a partial repair. Told us to get some one else to finish the job as he was unable to. So after spending $2800.00 on plumbing in our basement our geothermal unit is still backing up, unusable and he told us to get a geothermal company in. ... Read more

Called them out cause I had coupon, big mistake, plumber was like a snake oil salesman, everything was not to "code" Paid $2400.00 for new waste line, had to have a "new" garbage disposal, cause he could not be sure mine would be covered with his company warranty for work. While working in basement started showing wife all the other work he could do, for a "little" extra. Never gave a itemized... Read more

I called BF Plumbing because I had a pin-hole leak in a 1/2 inch hot water pipe. The lady would not quote a price over the phone. Since it was after 4 pm, I was told I would have to pay $79 to get the guy to come out "after hours". Guy arrived at 8 pm - seemed like a nice guy. He wanted $349 plus the $79 fee to fix the pipe. I told him no thanks, but still had to pay the $79 fee. It was cheaper... Read more

I don't even think he has proper licensing anymore. He works with scare tactics, makes you think very bad things are happening, then gets money, starts the work, gets more money and ***. I cannot believe this person is not in jail. He is a thief and should be banned from any plumbing work whatsoever. He told us we had to have the entire plumbing under the basement concrete removed and replaced.... Read more

Paid $1,600 for a 30 gallon electric water heater. I was without hot water for a week and just wanted a hot shower in my own house. I could have gotten a very good quality hot water heater with installation for a lot less. I was offered 3 hot water heater choices with the mid grade being 250 less than the mac daddy so I took the mac daddy. I honestly can't tell a difference between this one... Read more
